Annual closure of Block 1 of Yala National Park
We operate the camping tour in Yala Block 1 only.
This part of of Yala National Park will be closed In September and October, an annual closure in the end of the drought season.
The closure is almost certain, although always announced with short notice, usually notified in the beginning of August.
The closure of Block 1 of Yala does not affect other parts of the national park.
Block 5 of Yala National Park will be open even if Block 1 is closed.
We do safari tours in Yala National Block 5 from our ecolodge camp – Tree Tops Jungle Lodge. With a location north of Yala access is easy into Yala 5.
